Ted Hartselle Rockledge City Council 2012 to present

 I have proudly served the citizens of Rockledge for the past six years
 as city councilman by already helping accomplish:

  • Balanced Budgets – taxes second lowest in county

  • Reviewed and approved new land use regulations

  • Wrote new ordinances to save the Indian River Lagoon

  • Obtaining grants to replace septic systems

  • Brought new businesses and 1500 new jobs to Rockledge

  • Replacing Fire Station 2 damaged during Hurricane Irma

  • Improvements to recreation facilities

  • Removed blighted commercial buildings

  • Required banks to maintain abandoned homes

  • Renovated business fronts

  • Barnes Boulevard widening

  • Landscaping and Beautification on Barton and US1

  • Police Department Accreditation and New Police building

  • New police cars and fire trucks are paid for!

  • Stable pensions and benefits for city employees

  • Addressing community concerns and requests

  • Hired an excellent city manager to replace our retiring top-notch city manager,  

    and bring on-board new department managers.

  • Completed Barnes Boulevard widening, landscaping and attract new businesses

  • Complete a two mile Barton Lake recreation trail

  • Connect reuse water system to stormwater sources like Barton Lake        

  • Improve upon and implement additional services that benefit the citizens

  • Be the voice to represent citizens at city council meetings, county board and the state legislature;

  • making your views and opinions heard.
